Introduction:
Permanent Magnetic Head Rollers are widely used as head pulleys Installed at the discharge end of flat or troughed belt conveyors for continuous automatic removal of tramp iron from a variety of materials and prevent the conveyor belt, crushing machines, grinding machines and pressing machines from being damaged and abraded by tramp iron
Structure:
Permanent Magnetic Head Rollers is a 360 degree stationary permanent magnet system, comprised of standard permanent Magnets (Ferrite or Rare Earth NdFeB) enclosed in a non-magnetic stainless-steel drum shell.
Permanent Magnetic Head Rollers are available in two magnetic materials: standard strength, which uses ceramic magnetic material; and high strength, which uses high intensity rare earth magnetic material. when particular applications require removal of finer iron particles, rare earth material type permanent magnetic head pulley will be recommended, which is depending on the strength required to ensure a high quality separation.
In commonly application onsit, the latter is the most popular due to its high contamination removal efficiency
Installation:
Magnetic head rollers are typically installed at the head of a conveyor belt, with the roller supported by a frame.
Magnetic head rollers can be installed in existing conveyor systems or in new systems. They are typically mounted at the end of the conveyor or at a transfer point where material is transferred from one conveyor to another.
The roller can be designed to fit any standard conveyor belt width and can be installed in any orientation.
Application and benefits in application:
Conveyor belt permanent magnet pulley usually work with conveyor systems, Widely used in purification and concentration of metallurgy, ceramics, abrasives, carborundum, non-metallic minerals, refractory materials, mining, food, chemical, glass, building materials and other industries.
The benefits of magnetic head rollers include improved product purity, increased production efficiency, and reduced equipment damage and downtime. By removing ferrous contaminants from material being transported on conveyor belts, they improve the quality of the final product and reduce the risk of equipment damage and downtime.
Processing production:
In production,Our magnetic head pulley magnets sizes are customized and are available in a wide range of diameters and conveyor widths.
The magnetic head pulley dimension will be customized depending on customer’s installation and application onsite.
In addition to producing Permanent Magnetic Head Rollers, a complete separator system with conveyors can also be supplied if customers need on their application site.
Working principle:
The magnetic head roller works on the principle of magnetism. As the material is transported on the conveyor belt, it passes over the magnetic head roller, where the magnetic particles are attracted to the surface of the roller and held there as the roller rotates. Non-magnetic particles continue on the conveyor belt and exit the system.
